Night Eating Syndrome

This continuing education course reviews the primary characteristics of night eating syndrome (NES), a challenging but relatively unknown form of disordered eating that negatively and significantly impacts an individual’s metabolic functioning, mood, weight, sleep, and overall well-being. Based on the presented research on NES, this course provides practical recommendations health care professionals may use to educate and counsel patients about NES, known comorbidities, and relevant interventions that may reduce NES episodes and improve patients’ health-related quality of life.
