Microdoses of Mindfulness: Part 3: From Me to We - Integrating Mindfulness in Clinical Care and Teamwork
Join Mandy Enright, MS, RDN, RYT, as she marks a key transition from the personal mindfulness practices explored in Parts 1 and 2 of Microdoses of Mindfulness, to applying mindfulness in professional settings as she presents Part 3 of the series, From Me to We - Integrating Mindfulness in Clinical Care and Teamwork.
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 2-2:30 p.m. ET, Mandy will begin with a brief check-in, inviting participants to reflect on how their practice has evolved and what challenges may still be present. This discussion sets the stage for the next step: bringing mindfulness into clinical care and inter-professional collaboration.
Mandy will then explore practical, profession-specific ways to integrate mindfulness into healthcare work. This may include taking a mindful pause during a nutrition counseling session, using grounding techniques before a difficult conversation, or modeling presence within a care team. Emphasis will be placed on how mindfulness can enhance empathy, communication, and care quality for both patients and colleagues.
As in Parts 1 and 2, Mandy will conclude with guided mindfulness practices that reinforce the session’s themes. Participants will be encouraged to begin applying mindfulness in their daily clinical roles while continuing to nurture their personal practice. Part 4 - the final session - will provide a space to reflect on real-world experiences by sharing challenges, successes, and insights gained from bringing mindfulness into professional care.
Learning Objectives
After completing this continuing education activity, health care professionals will better be able to:
- Analyze personal mindfulness experiences and identify opportunities to apply mindfulness techniques in professional settings.
- Describe how mindfulness-based strategies can enhance patient care across clinical disciplines.
- Explain how mindfulness can support collaboration, communication, and presence within interprofessional care teams.
